Boshter lvl 5, "AC 17, 22/35 HP.

Abrahil Wizard 3, 18 hp, AC 15"

Jareth Fighter lvl 4 17/36 HP/AC 21/FF 19/Touch 12

Alice level 2 Cleric/16HP/AC of 16/Flat footed is 15 Touch 11

Myrana Artificer 3, HP 15, AC 15"0

Death Consent was on.

It's raining. The water falls from the sky and coats everything in a thick sheet of water. No sound of thunder fills the air. Only the constant sound of water striking the earth, rooftops and paving stones. A constant wet drumming noise that fills the ears and promises to make one very cold given the temperatures.

A man with thick mustaches gives the instructions rather hurriedly. The man himself is the Liaison between the Alexandrian forces in the war in Sendor and the Adventurer’s Guild. He points to an area on a map.

"A few days ago a group of three left to investigate a rather savage bandit attack. Sadly they haven't returned and at this point we're fearing the worse. The countryside is not the friendliest, and if the bandits got to them..." He shrugs. "Well. They'd be dead. We know the bandits haven’t been stopped because since that time there have been two more raids. None as brutal as that first one, but injuries were sustained and they made off with a good number of supplies that could have made it to refugees or our boys fighting in Sendor." He gestures to the map. It has a circled area on it. "Put simply. Find the missing adventurers, and or stop the bandits." He waves a hand, "Begone. Get what you need and get going."

"Well! Well..." Abrahil drums his fingers nervously against his stomach. It doesn't make the tank-tank-tank noise it makes on other men--it makes a soft, almost pleasantly squishy squish. "That's distressing. I do hope they're alright." He hops down from the chair, "Do we have maps? Do we...oh, oh my. Do we have a tracker of some sort?" the lenses are adjusted.

GAME: Myrana refreshes spells.

Rain! Perfect. Rada is smiling and scary beneath the rain. Alice is here, wisely wearing a hood and a sort of parasol to keep the water off her head. She is listening here in the background of the group. A frown. Bandits! Unjust heathens in dire need of a tuna slapping! Time for a righteous smackdown, if one will. She looks over towards the others. "I'm no tracker really," Alice finally admits.

[RPOne] Alice says, "I have one more spell, I've got Cure light wounds and bless ready - um, is there anything important I'm missing?"

[RPOne] Boshter says, "Well, first.."

[RPOne] Boshter says, "Since you can spontaneously conver to cure spells, never memorize a cure spell :)"

Jareth's brow furrows at the explanation offered up by the liaison, "So, there's a strong possibility that we'll be bringing back their corpses for proper burial. Either way, we'll bring them home. As for the bandits, we'll do what we can to put a stop to them and recover the stolen supplies." and then looks out the window, "I hope everyone brought their extra travel cloaks. It looks like we're all going to get soaked out there."

[RPOne] Boshter says, "It's a wasted slot. :)"

[RPOne] Agril has left this channel.

[RPOne] Boshter says, "I'd grab Shield of Faith :)"

"I'm afraid I don't know the first thing about it, either," admits Abrahil, to Alice. "I don't suppose you have one to spare," to the crazy-looking man. The moustache is going to come alive. Like a tarantula. At any moment. "And I don't suppose there's a scout recently been to the area we could talk with?" his fingers tremble, and he presses them together.

[RPOne] Boshter says, "Shield of Faith, Divine Favor, and Bless. :)"

[RPOne] Alice was thinking Doom for flavor. Just because I can yell DOOM!

[RPOne] Boshter :D

[RPOne] Boshter says, "You would win."

[RPOne] Ceres has left this channel.

GAME: Alice refreshes spells.

"Oh no!" Boshter is alarmed by the story he is told. "Do not worry! We will save them and make sure the bandits are dead! They could be in lots of trouble! We must make sure they are okay!"

He sounds very excited, this Boshter does.

The ustached man shakes his head. "No. We don't. All the scouts are on the front in Sendor.. Well.. Scouting!" He twirls the tremendous 'stache and hrms. "Given that the group was two War Golems and a Bloody Orc I think you should have no problem fidning the battle site." He shrugs. "Simply look for the torn up area."

"Water doesn't bother me," The cleric of Rada notes cheerily. "My metal armor though..." Well, alas, Alice's enthusiasm dampens a moment. She just smiles and tugs her cloak. Good ole traveling cloak and parasol. "I'll help bless the bodies and keep an eye out, but I couldn't track anything that doesn't involve water." Or sharks. Alice is a /pro/ at finding sharks. Still, there's enthusiasm for saving people. Heroics! And smiting heathens for Rada! She nods at Abrahil and goes quiet. That epic 'stache +5, whoa. Hm. "Oh."

Myrana has reconnected.

Gulp. "Goodness," Abrahil murmurs. He doesn't appear to register the words. He's too busy staring at the MOUSTACHE OF DOOM. "Goodness... A little schnapps to lift the spirits and bring the warmth, I always say, then. It's the perfect weather for it," he coughs, nervously. And totters out the door, a beachball on teeny, tiny legs.

Jareth nods slowly, "Fair enough." and then looks at the map to get a bearing as far as their current location is, "Let's head in that general direction, and hopefully we'll find a trail left behind by two war golems that likely weigh close to a quarter ton each, and an Orc on the move with them."

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Ready to fast forward?"

<OOC> Boshter says, "Sure!"

<OOC> Abrahil nods. Would like t'tackle the long-term buffs, if he can, when they get vaguely near the area. They're all hours-long duration. ':)

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Alrighty. ^^"

<OOC> Gauvain says, "So. Everyone make me two spot checks. DC is 20. It's to find the big foot prints that are filling with water."

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Okay. Alice finds the foot prints fairly easily once you are in teh area. I'm going to page her something."

You paged Alice with 'Besides the foot prints you notice rather LARGER foot prints in the area.'

Water, water everywhere. Go Alice! She seems as happy as a fish in a lot of water. She is wise enough to keep herself covered, for no one loves a squeaky, rusted up cleric. And strangely, there does seem to be a rather large dried/preserved fish in her bag. ... could be used as a club. Eerie. At least she has a horse to ride on, if it takes that long. A pause as they travel. "Hey, there's like, foot prints... and then there's FOOT PRINTS. Bigger ones," In case the emphasis was unclear.

"...goodness," Abrahil fumbles with his lenses as he leans over to examine the prints. "Those...well, goodness," he straightens, plops his hands atop his paunch. "Those are alot bigger than I'd expected. They're sort of...big, aren't they?" he rubs a finger along the side of his face, perhaps to get something from his eye. Then looks at his fingertips, rubbing thumb and pointer together.

Jareth is as likely to find those tracks as he is to find the proverbial needle in the haystack. So, when Myrana points them out, he clucks his tongue and looks to see which direction said tracks go, "Hopefully, we're getting close. No way I can tell how old these tracks are."

<OOC> Gauvain says, "So. You are in the vacinity of the map, now what are you kids gonna do?"

Myrana has partially disconnected.

<OOC> Abrahil's willing to follow. He can try to detect thoughts if we feel we're getting a little closer. I've only got one shot at that, though. ^^;

<OOC> Alice will follow the Abrahil and keep an eye out.

"Oh no! Footprints!" Boshter sure does say 'oh no' a lot. "This is a good thing, though. We will have to follow these tracks and proceed with caution! There's probably an ambush somewhere." And with that, the hobgoblin does his bes tto find a way to dissapear from sight. While ranging up ahead a little bit.

<OOC> Boshter says, "Boshter is naturally going to take point and attempt to scout stealthily while following prints. :)"

Myrana walks along with the others, hands in her pockets and a warm green scarf wrapped about her face. After the incident of the burning tower she's had to go and get another coat, and this one is buttoned up snugly.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "The prints are easy to follow once they're pointed out. Gimmie the scout checks Boshter ^^ And Abrahil just let me knwo if you use the Sense thoughts scroll and tell me what it does ^^"

<OOC> Abrahil says, "http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/DetectThoughts.htm ^^;"

GAME: Boshter rolls Move SIlently: (20)+12: 32

GAME: Boshter rolls Hide: (6)+11: 17

<OOC> Boshter says, "Boshter walks quietly, but carries a big all too visible stick. :("

GAME: You secretly roll 1d20: 1

You paged Boshter with 'You sneak off ahead. About 75 feet from where you are, you see a rather LARGE humanoid. He sits on the ground playing with the two war golems liek they're toy soldiers. There's an orc hanging by hsi feet over a fire pit. It is quietly humming to itself as it makes Hekton stab Judgement repeatedly. Think of a kid playing with his GI-Joes.'

"Goodness," Abrahil whispers the word. He toddles along the trail, a distance from Boshter and near to Alice. His outfit, garish, is covered by a rather drab cloak. /Terribly/ drab. /Awfully/ drab, and he occasionally picks at it with the saddest expression that suggests someone's puppy died.

Boshter pages: Large as in ogre?

Boshter pages: That seems awfully convenient. I am going to take a moment to peer around and see if I can spot any potential ambush.

<OOC> Abrahil will hold off on it unless: come to a thicketed area that looks ambush-likely, Boshter gives some sort of signal. ^^; Duration's only a few minutes. :3

You paged Boshter with 'Think bigger.'

You paged Boshter with 'Ogre is too small.'

Boshter pages: Oh my. :)

"I've no idea, all I know is I see two sets of them. Big and Bigger," Alice shakes her head. She's armed with a spear for this it seems, and a sling slung from her belt because her player TOTALLY did not forget what weapon she'd bought. She looks around with a frown. "I guess maybe we'll go the way the toes point, I'm no expert really." She defers to another on this, but she stays near the group towards the middle.

Boshter pages: Spot check or anything or shall I head back to the others?

You paged Boshter with 'Go ahead and give me a spot check.'

GAME: Boshter rolls Spot: (13)+5: 18

You paged Boshter with 'There are lots of foot prints, human sized, being washed away by the rain. There are also half eaten boddies laying about, as well as quite a few bones. It looks like the Large humanoid's been feasting.'

Boshter pages: Oh good. :)

From afar, Boshter goes back the others.

Boshter pages: Do you need any other rolls before I pose?

You paged Boshter with 'Nope!'

So eventually, Boshter returns. He looks nervous. "There is a very large man up ahead! He has the adventurers." He sounds very worried. "Not sure if they are alive or not. He's *huge*. Bigger than an OGRE."

Myrana blinks, then steps forward. "Might we talk to him

<OOC> Myrana says, "Oops"

Myrana blinks, then steps forward. "Might we talk to him?" she says, looking at the others. "Maybe he will parlay with us."

"I doubt it, if he's killing people and taking adventurers prisoner," Alice points out. She's apparently voting for the 'smite the hell out of the sinners' option. "I mean, unless they're totally fabulous, I sincerely doubt they'd use savage bandit attacks as a light term..." She's willing to consider it at least.

"...well," Abrahil wrings his hands. "I didn't quite have time for the schnapps, but maybe--" he reaches up, adjusts his lenses. Gulps. "I'm just glad you saw him before he saw us!" and the gnervous gnome begins to fish around in his pockets. He nods to Alice.

<OOC> Abrahil says, "Mirror image. ':)"

*****BUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrP****** Comes from the direction Boshter came form followed by a deep chested giggle.

Jareth scratches at the stubble on his chin, "Alright. In this case, we need to hit him fast and hit him hard. If we take the leader down, odds are good the others will scatter or be too disorganized to form up a proper defense."

"...see. Yes. I did not see anyone else," says Boshter, shaking his head. He sounds worried about it, actually. "..He was HUGE. We should not let him get too close to us if we can help it!"

Myrana swallows nervously.

"D'awwwww. Metal man broke." Comes that Deep chested voice. Then suddenly a large War Golem comes crashing to the earth. Like a discarded toy it hits and rolls on the ground. The War Golem is female, and is mangled. Large rents in it's mettalic hide mar the once beautiful craftsmanship and appealing curves. She lays there splawed out on the gorund. Unmoving. One arm barely on, and missing on leg. Likely somewhere in the woods.

For thsoe that knew her, the body is that of Judgement.

[RPOne] Alice says, "Noooooooooo! Wait, who's Judgement?"

"...gaaah!!" Boshter manages to step back and then he turns towards the others. "See? We have to stop it. It is very big! It threw a WAR GOLEM." He's... terrified, actually.

Abrahil grasps one of the scrolls from his pouch (paunch?) and unravels it. "Goodness..." he mumbles. He takes a breath. A second one. And then, "Let me be sure no one else's here..." and unrolling the scroll, he presses his fingers to the locale of the gnomish brain: their long, twitchy noses.

[RPOne] Alice says, "Also, should I hit you guys with Bless now?"

[RPOne] Boshter says, "Very soon. :)"

<OOC> Abrahil okay's. ^^; Detect thoughts, then, please. ':)

<OOC> Abrahil's really only interested in rounds 1 and 2. ^^; 3 would be nice, but...well. This is a scroll. :)

<OOC> Myrana has a crazy idea.

<OOC> Abrahil aroo's? :)

You paged Abrahil with 'A childish thought. Like an idiot. But BIG. The roiling chaotic thoughts of an Orc and the almost metalic after taste of a War Golem. The latter two are barely alive and loosing sentience FAST.'

Abrahil pages: Gotcha.

GAME: Abrahil used a Scroll of Detect Thoughts.

Blink. That... poor war golem. Alice looks pained. She pulls her sling and curls her fingers into a little blessing gestures. She's preparing something, whispering. "That poor lady... We have to save her if we can. What's left anyway, I've no idea how much punishment one of them can take but-" But it's not looking good.

<OOC> Myrana says, "Since you have that scroll working I'll page you."

"Well...goodness. He's the only one there, I think," Abrahil murmurs, straightens. "And the others are about to...well! Let's not go there," he says, briskly. The little gnome rubs his hands together. "I suggest we get moving, good si--oh! Don't do that," he says, to Myrana. "He isn't very bright. He just wants to kill, eat, and kill some more. You'd be a shish-ka-bob. A very lovely one, to be sure, m'dear," he adds hastily, and reaches over to pat her hand.

Myrana gasps as Judgement's body comes crashing down. Horror is quickly subsumed by anger though, and the young woman soon turns, blue eyes flashing. She hardly gets more than two paces before Abrahil catches her in the act though. Myra gives him a frustrated look. "F...Fine," she growls hotly. "Is she dead?"

Boshter pages: @Emit "...s owe have to kill him. And I think so," says Boshter to Myrana, frowning, "but I do not know about war golems!" He scratches his head. "..we need a plan." He looks at Jareth. Hey, he's teh big soldiery looking guy. Surely, he has one.

Boshter pages: Oop

"...s owe have to kill him. And I think so," says Boshter to Myrana, frowning, "but I do not know about war golems!" He scratches his head. "..we need a plan." He looks at Jareth. Hey, he's teh big soldiery looking guy. Surely, he has one.

Myrana kneels down next to Judgement, hands going over the mangled frame, checking for signs of life. She is an artificer, after all.

"Not yet," and the gnome reaches over to pat Myrana's hand again. He looks up, two earnest eyes. "But, m'dear, they may be, soon! Their thoughts are very weak...very tired," he adds, mumbles. And straightens his shoulders. The paunch jiggles. "Goodness! Well, I'm in for a rescue, if ever I'd heard of one!"

You paged Myrana with 'The only way Judgement is coming back is with a resurrect spell. No amount of Artifice can brinbg that sentience back to life.'

Myrana closes her eyes... then straightens. "Yes," she murmurs, and rises. "What should we do?" Poor Jareth. She looks at him too, rather expecting him to have an idea.

[RPOne] Abrahil says, "Lead us to victory, Jareth! :)"

[RPOne] Abrahil says, "Also, stompings. :3"

Jareth looks around at their immediate surroundings as well as the direction from which the laughter is emanating. He motions to Abrahil and Myrana, "Go around left, and stop when you're at a position on this thing's flank. Boshter and Alice, circle right. Alice stops exactly opposite from Abrahil and Myrana. Boshter continues on until he's opposite my position here. Spellcasters open up with a barrage of whatever they can throw, or with missile weapons. Boshter and I charge in and close with it, but we keep moving in opposite directions. If it decides to chase, it can only do so to one of us. Whoever gets chased keeps it moving. The others close in on its rear flank and keep throwing whatever they can at it. If it turns to another target, new target keeps it moving and the rest renew the assault. If it stands its ground, we just make another pass. Wolf pack tactic. Understood?"

Jareth adds as he looks at Alice, "Actually, might I borrow your spear? If it does decide to charge me, and I have no more place to go, I can put that spear to good use. If you don't mind that is?"

Blink. "Right." Alice pretends she understands. Move right. Instead of her sling, Alice pulls a spear. Time for some STABBIN'S. Perhaps. At least the woman is an armored caster. "Um. Need a blessing before we go into battle yeah?" She offfers quietly. She thinks she's got this plan down and doesn't seem to consult the dried fish on her back. A pause at the asking to borrow the spear. "Yeah, sure." She smiles and hands him her spear. "I'll stick with the sling and angry words."

<OOC> Abrahil says, "If Jareth wants his PfE used, Ab can do that now, too. ':) Otherwise...following instructions. :D"

"That is an excellent idea," says Boshter to Jareth, firmly. "I will attempt to get its attention!" He beams. Excited instead of worried. This is gonna work GREAT.

<OOC> Jareth says, "Do it now, my good man. I'll take whatever help I can get.:)"

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Once you guys are ready, roll init. He rolled a nat 1 to notice you guys, so you'll be in position."

Abrahil takes out another, and wriggles his fingers. "Ah! I've got just the thing..." and he pulls out the nth piece of paper for that day. "Stand still, then--" and the spell is cast, the words are uttered--and the scroll fumbles to dust.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Boshter!"

Blessed are those who make their spot checks. Yea, verily unto them Death does not swoop down with pointy bits, unpleasant breath and explosives. Alice has a small blue crystal floating in some water and she slips it from her pack. She's in position with her sling. But first, she takes this moment to murmur respectful words to Rada. O sea lord, grant us either a holy hand grenade with which to blow thy enemies to smithereens or - failing that, the ability to /punch their freaking faces in/ (Is she bipolar or something? Maybe just regular crazy...). The group will feel lifted, as if the surge from a tide coming in, the rush of waves coming in. Spirits soar on sea's foam, with a wind whipping at their back. Be blessed!

Abrahil scurries. He does. He scurries and tumbles behind a set of trees, and peers out from behind them. A pair of gnomish eyes peer from the bushes and underbrush, and--blink--at the large creature. Abrahil pushes up his sleeves!

[RPOne] Alice says, "You all now get +1 to attack and save vs. fear."

[RPOne] Alice (Horray!)

[RPOne] Abrahil cheers! :D

[RPOne] Jareth says, "It's a hill giant, isn't it?"

Once the assault begins, Jareth breaks out of the brush in a running stride, sword drawn. With his shield leading the way, the fighter closes the gap between himself and the giant, his blade slashing in a wide arc across the back of the creature's thigh, cutting deep into the meat and severing a muscle nearly down to the bone as a huge spurt of blood comes gushing out.

Now, to deal out some (un)holy damage herself! Rada does not always smile. And sometimes, those who help themselves- well, not EVERYTHING is divine after all. As is apparent by Alice's sling shot going *poink* off a tree. "Darnit." But the tide rises again and it's time to keep fighting.

"You will be defeated for hurting our friends!" Boshter says this, loudly. He sneaks up behind it while Jareth has it distracted? And punches it square in the side of the knee. It's like a bee stinging.

<OOC> Myrana will toss a Magic Missle at it.

GAME: Myrana rolls 1d4+1: (4)+1: 5

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Pose it."

[RPOne] Myrana says, "Woo! Full damage ^^"

Myrana crouches immediately as the giant goes crashing to the ground, dissapearing into the undergrowth around her. One hand goes down into her pocket. A bright blue-green marble of shining glass appears in her hand. She blows gently on it, then hurls it at the giant. I

GAME: Jareth rolls 1d8+7: (8)+7: 15

The glass breaks on the giant, and the spell sinks in viciously. Myra goes about reloading her crossbow from cover.

<OOC> Jareth will move his full movement away from him and then wait.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "The giant rolls on the gorund to get out of the grease. Unfortunately this puts Boshter in the way! Make a Ref Save Bosh!"

GAME: Boshter rolls Ref: (8)+8: 16

As the giant goes down, Jareth follows up his first vicious attack with a brutal downward slash into the giant's shoulder, leaving another garish wound in the weapon's wake before the warrior dashes away out of the giant's reach.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "You barely manage to avoid being crushed by the Giant. I shall pose then it's Alice's turn again."

[RPOne] Jareth says, "Ok, he's taken 25+15+9+5 damage so far. Not too bad, so far."

[RPOne] Abrahil :D

Roaring in pain and a surprise as the Giant is jsut wailed on. He rolls out of the grease and then stands up shakily. He rips a tree out of the ground and bashes it on the ground with earth jarring results. "Food try to hurt Garry! GARRY SMASH!!"

[RPOne] Myrana says, "Garry XD"

<OOC> Jareth says, "Does Boshter get an AoO when Garry gets up?"

<OOC> Gauvain says, "No. Boshter is too busy trying to NOT be rolled over by the large ton and a half heavy creature."

<OOC> Jareth says, "That'd do it."

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Alice. Yer up girl ^^"

<OOC> Alice thinks. I'm gonna divine favor m'self.

GAME: Alice casts Divine Favor.

<OOC> Abrahil says, "How far is Garry from everyone else? ^^;"

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Not too far. A little over 10 ft from Boshter, twice that from jareth."

Well. If you can't get it done yourself, sometimes you get by with a little help from your friends. Your /divine/ friends and we're not talking an older woman with a sassy attitude and sparkling dress (With sage advice). Alice gives up hope of her marksmanship working and mumbles a soft prayer, sprinkling water over herself. "O Father of the Tides, guide my aim that I might smite this bastard for crushing an innocent soul senselessly."

<OOC> Abrahil alright's. I'll enlarge the monk, to help out with reach issues. ':)

<OOC> Gauvain says, "That's a miss."

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Jareth? Ar eyou back?"

"Goodness...well, that's awfully..." Abrahil's voice trails off as he stares at the GIANT TREE, and the gnome fishes in pockets, in knapsacks...and comes up with a tattered scroll. "Ah! Grow big and strong with goods from Fanatical Eddie's emporium! ...oh, posh. There's more of it." And he proceeds to read the sp--advertisement for Fanatical Eddie. Anyhow, Boshter gets really HYUUUUUGE.

<OOC> Jareth says, "I'm back."

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Good timing! Your action."

"...whoa! I'm big!" Boshter is suddenly twelve feet tall, which puts him on a much more even keel with the giant monster that's towering over everyone -- even him and even now -- as he reaches out to PUNCH IT TWICE MORE. His punches, however, are a little off. He's not used to being huge.

<OOC> Jareth says, "Drink my potion of Bull's Strength!"

Myrana scrambles back as one of the trees comes up from the ground with a great tearing of roots and crumbling of earth. Her next bolt goes wild as she scrambles back to find better cover, swearing a blue streak.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Lemme pose and Alice can go again ^^"

Having put some space between himself and the giant, Jareth reaches into his belt pouch and pulls out a vial. Popping off the cap, he knocks it back in one gulp, throwing away the empty vessel and wiping his mouth with the back of a gloved hand. Taking a deep breath, his already fairly impressive physique seems to become even moreso, his arms and chest bulging visibly as the effects of the potion's enhancement magic take effect.

As the assault continues, Garry swings his tree wildly to ward off blows coming at him. He looks at Boshter who isn't as big as he ism but is still big and swings the tree at the Monk. "SMASH! GARRY SMASH!!" THe Tree impacts with a splintering sound, sending leaves, and branches flying everywhere from teh impact. He roars again in triumph and prepares to come at the monk again. "Hehehehe. Big Floppy ear gonna be smashed again."

Huh? (Type "help" for help.)

<OOC> Abrahil says, "Will 17. ^^;"

Alas. Sometimes Rada just says: Sister, deal with it your own damn self. And in this case, Alice's shot goes wide again. "Geez. Maybe I should have practiced more," She puffs. The pebble does at least, knock some leaves down.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Boshter."

Bippity, boppity, boo! I've got something for you!" Goodness. He really /does/ say that. Abrahil's been in theatre too long, clearly--the little gnome bounces and jangles, jingles and jostles...and dancing, dancing faerie lights begin to spin and swirl about the giant's head, his thickening skull. But--whatever was supposed to happen..."Oh...oh, my! Don't get near those, m'dears! It didn't work!"

PUNCH.

Boshter totally punches the giant again. In the hip. "What is this thing?!' He sounds somewhat upset. "You are a very bad person! YOu killed people! That is very bad! You are going to be hurt now!" PUNCH. Crack. He pulls his hands back, reassuming a defensive stance. He looks worried.

Large! Large! Oh very large! And two of them! The fact that one of the ginormous combatants is technically on their side does not soothe Myrana in the least. Being stepped on is not how she wants to go! Not even slightly! She throws another of the marbles. It smashes on 'Garry's' knee.

<OOC> Jareth says, "Charge back in to help relieve Boshter."

[RPOne] Abrahil ... -.-;

[RPOne] Alice is going to heal on her turn...

[RPOne] Abrahil is going to try and webify that tree. :/

Even as Jareth comes in swinging, the Giant's relentless attack continues. The Tree is swung and it connects with Jareth with shattering force. Hitting the fighter and probolly breaking alot of bones. "YOU! You cut Garry! Garry HIT you with TREE! Make you NOT cut Garry!"

Tightening his grip on his sword, Jareth breaks into a full run at the giant again. A glancing blow is warded off by his shield. The impact would have probably sent him reeling anyway under normal circumstances, but with the magical might coursing through him, he's able to stay on track and buries his sword into the giant's lower abdomen, only to have the giant's follow-up swing hammer down onto his shoulder, causing the fighter's knees to buckle under him.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Alice"

[RPOne] Abrahil says, "He probably has grease on him, too, if we want to play with fire. ^^;"

[RPOne] Alice says, "Ok, who's in need of a heal?"

[RPOne] Jareth says, "Me."

[RPOne] Alice okays.

[RPOne] Jareth is at 14/36.

<OOC> Alice says, "I'm going to do my divine energy bendy straw thing and burn my domain spell for a cure light wounds on Jareth."

[RPOne] Myrana says, "Waayy belatedly... XD"

[RPOne] Myrana has only so many, it is true.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "You'll have to come in the Giant's reach unless it's a rnaged spell."

<OOC> Alice hms. It's fine, I don't think I provoke AoO do I?

<OOC> Abrahil...could she use Jareth f'soft cover?

<OOC> Alice could come from behind. Er.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "She could. She'd get +4 AC"

[RPOne] Alice will throw you a cure light potion next round.

<OOC> Abrahil says, "He'd like t'try an' webify that tree and and stick it to nearby trees. Sudden widen the darn thing so there's lots and lots and lots of webbing binding the thing. He's aiming for over folks heads. :/ I figure the thing's tall. ^^;"

[RPOne] Abrahil nah's. :D

[RPOne] Abrahil says, "S'doin' awesome. :D"

[RPOne] Myrana nods :)

[RPOne] Jareth says, "Think about it, we've managed to almost take down a hill giant in about 4 rounds, without any casualties so far. Pretty damn impressive.:)"

<OOC> Gauvain says, "You'll get Boshter. Remember you Enlarged him ^^"

<OOC> Abrahil hrm's. X) Could w'go without the widen, then, and aim behind th' Giant?

<OOC> Gauvain says, "I'll give it to you."

<OOC> Abrahil says, "Otherwise, will try grease again. ':)"

<OOC> Abrahil okay's!

Sometimes the ocean provides bounty too. The cleansing salts, the rush of clean air- cold water hitting your face just right. It's not exactly touchy feely healy, but there's a surge of energy and a little bit of Jareth's strength returns. Alice is wise enough to stay just behind. "I'm going to give you a potion in a moment," She murmurs to Jareth.

GAME: Abrahil casts web.

Also, Alice totally poked Jareth on the shoulder. Tag, you're healed.

<OOC> Boshter flex.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Pose it. Myrana."

Spider, spider...there's a rhyme that goes with it. Abrahil throws his hand outward, and makes a crawling motion with his fingers. Sticky, gooey strands fire outward and tag the end of the monstr'ous tree, slinging around it and binding into the treeline. It ties the two together--but the gnome taps his fingers. Nervously. And eyes the shoulders of the beast. "It may not work for long, m'dears! Give the bloody fellow a bruising!"

[RPOne] Abrahil :D

[RPOne] Abrahil thinks this is m'favorite character so far. X)

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Hit and killed. He's help up by the Webbing. Pose it."

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Free posing aftger Jareth's pose."

Naturally, Boshter leaps up on to the giant's back. He's biggger than he is, so he's able to do this. He wraps one arm around the giant's throat and holds himself there while he repeatedly brings his fist into the side of the giant's head, landing a sickening crunching sound several times. At least it leaves it open for Jareth..

Taking a deep breath after Alice's healing touch, Jareth nods to her, "Save it for after..." before letting out a roar as he steps forward and drives his sword up into the giant's gut once more, this time burying the blade up to the hilt before he rips it out and disembowels the massive creature, leaving it dangling in Abrahil's conjured webbing, its entrails streaming down its legs to the ground.

[RPOne] Jareth says, "That was a bit graphic. Sorry."

[RPOne] Abrahil :D

[RPOne] Thyrson says, "Lies. :)"

[RPOne] Alice says, "Hey, if you epic stab you can be epic violent if you want. >>"

From afar, Abrahil...can I pose playing puppet with the strings? ^^;

[RPOne] Thyrson says, "Combat poses are better with viscera! :)"

You paged Abrahil with 'uhhhhhhhhhhhh Sure.'

[RPOne] Kylie says, "Entrails or it didn't happen."

"...he looks rather like a puppet," Abrahil observes. The gnome brushes off his jerkin, and--sticky bits of web stick to it. He rubs his palms together. /ITCH/. "A tall...big...hideous puppet," the mage says, and scurries forward. He looks up at the creature. And looks up at it, thoughts clearly racing.

[RPOne] Myrana says, "Back!"

Oh ew. Alice just winces. "So glad I'm on this side," Mutter. Apparently from her healing prowess, she's a cleric fresh from the temples released onto the world. "Sure thing." A belated reply to his after comment. She's just kind of staring. Because what /do/ you said to a dude that just totally disemboweled a dude that was punching dudes? Nothing really. Except you might tell him he has guts. "Uh. Nice swordsmanship." Yeah, there we go.

There is an Orc about 30 feet from the party suspended over a fire by his feet. He's alive, but is clearly in need of medical help. Blood drip and sizzles down into the fire from multiple messy and probolly infected sword cuts. Against a tree is a battereda and mangled Hekton. Immobile and inert. Battle damage is not QUITE as bad as judgement's but it's pretty severe.

Myrana emerges with a rustle from the brush. "Where are the people he had--" Before she can finish that question, her blue eyes catch sight of them. Myra hurries over to them, boots splashing through cooling, churned up red mud as she goes.

[RPOne] Alice says, "Oh hey, I've got a healing kit. I totally remembered to buy one."

[RPOne] Abrahil :D

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Okay. It's getting late. You guys cna get the Two survivors, Hekton and Ronak back to the city for Treatments. Chasing the bandits will have to wait for another day ^^"

Jareth plants his sword's tip into the ground, chewing the inside of his cheek as he watches the aftermath of his last attack on the giant, "This...this is probably not what Daeus would look kindly upon." and then lowers himself to one knee for a moment, muttering a prayer of atonement before rising up to stand and look at the other two captives, "I think the Orc would benefit from your potion more than I would, Alice. See to his wounds. I can still move about well enough."

Whew! Boshter is so relieved when the giant, well.. falls over. He seems very, very relieved, actually. He grabs hold of the survivors, then, and begins to drag them to Alice for treatment, 'coz hey, clerics.

<OOC> Boshter says, "Sounds good, Gau :D"

<OOC> Jareth says, "Did Judgement not survive?"

<OOC> Myrana says, "Thanks for the scene! :)"

Abrahil looks tired. Exhausted! Sweat drips from his pores and plasters what hair he has (bushy, white!) to his forehead. He beams at Alice, and then turns back around. He isn't a healer--but he /is/ a...well. With an almost grandfatherly smile, he wriggles his fingers. The strands of the web tug up, up! and the Giant hits himself in the head. Repeatedly.

<OOC> Gauvain says, "Sadly no. Judgement is Dead."

Lightbulb goes up. "Oh hey, I've got healing supplies-" Right next to her motivational fish club. Alice turns around, "Here, drink this potion you - and I'll get that orc fellow," She murmurs, "Make sure the war golem is stable too. I've got a little healing left. Oh." Well, okay then. "Sure thing, boss." Nod. Alice bobs her head at Jareth and turns to begin to see what care she can manage. And hey, clerics. What cha gonna do?

Myrana looks over at Alice as the survivors are helped down. "The lady War-Golemn, she is... well," the young artificer brushes her bangs from her eyes, gazing at the other wounded. "She is beyond any help but that of a Resurrection spell."

"Gone. Broken beyond repair?" Frowning, Boshter says, "I.. will gather her up. I am a Vardaman. That is my responsibility." And with that, a much mroe subdued Boshter goes to do that.

Jareth nods as he looks at Myrana, "Understood. We bring her back with us. If she can't be raised by the Clerics, then she can be given a proper memorial for her bravery and sacrifice. We can...we can tie some blankets together, a makeshift stretcher, or a shroud in this case. I'll take care of...Daeus forgive me, I'll drag her back."

... oh dear. Alice's expression twists. "Oh. Well. Do you know which God or Goddess she followed? Perhaps we can at least take her to their temple for that and see if she wishes to return this world or join Him/Her," Is all the cleric can offer beyond a generic blessing. It would be rude with a capital R to claim the soul of the fallen who followed another, at least in Alice's humble opinion. "Good ideas," A murmur and she nods. "We can put her on my horse and I can walk too," She offers. "He's a warhorse." So he can ... carry lots. "Would be easier and you'd be free if this fellow's friends pop up on us."
